You are surfing the web and you see another ad telling you how to make a ton of money over night, Join Now. So what do you do? You join that business in the hopes that all that money they said was going to fall in to your lap overnight does! So you try it for a week or two and nothing happens. You end up feeling like you have been scammed and the company sucks! So whos to blame? Is the ad lying? Is the company a fake and maybe no one really told you what you where getting into?
For what every reason it could be, dont feel bad you are the majority! Now its time to turn this around. Its time for you to find a online job that will work for you. Its time to find out what it takes to have a online business. Its time to move out of the majority, and into the Top 5%!
1. Avoid Scams
I know this one is hard to believe, but there are people online trying to rip you off! So you have to be really smart with your credit card. When you find a business you like, do your research on it. Google it, Youtube it, Wikipedia it, dont stop researching it until you have a good felling about it! Dont be afraid to ask people you know about it.
2. Get On The Phone
I know in my business I put my phone number on all my WebPages and e-mails. If someone wants to call me they can at anytime. Anyone who is a good leader, with a good company, will be doing the same. If you cant get on the phone with someone, dont join that company!
3. Its Never That Easy
Im sorry to break this to you, unless you win the lottery you are not going to make a million dollars over night! It takes work to make money and if ads are telling you different, just move on to the next one!
4. Your Mindset
Do you really want your own business? I know you want to make more money, everyone wants to. But you must be in the right mind set of owning your own business. Its a lot of work and the only way it is going to work is if you make it. I think out of all the tips this might be the one that holds everyone back.
5. Find A Leader
If you are joining a business look for a good leader to help you out. In most MLM companies you work with a sponsor and that sponsor is your mentor/teacher. Its really simple, if your teacher sucks how are they going to help you! Get on the phone before you join and really ask them question see if they can help you out! Go check out there Blog, Facebook, and Twitter pages. Make sure they are a good fit for you!
6. Dont Be Pressured
When you are out there looking for that one good opportunity, that one online job that is perfect for you and your lifestyle, dont let people push you into it to fast. If you are talking on the phone to them, and they keep trying to pressure you into joining their business, you dont have to do it right then and there. If you need a couple days to think about it tell them. If they keep trying to push then just push back and be strong. Take those days because you dont want to end up with something that just wasnt right for you.
7. Focus
Focus on one company and only one company! Im not talking about putting your job or your day-to-day life on hold. Im talking about once you have committed to a business, dont be clicking on ads telling you about the best new thing. The best new thing is the same thing you where looking at last week. If you keep jumping company to company you will never get off the ground.
8. Give It Time
You must give your business time to grow. If you think it is all going to come together in a week you are going to be disappointed. Give your business a few months and really give it a solid chance.
9. Hold Yourself Accountable
Its your business and only your business. Its up to you to make it work. If you want to only work at if for 30 minutes a week then thats the results you will get. If you put 10 hours a week into you will have more results. If you work on the computer, do not allow yourself to get distracted by unnecessary things. So many men and women who work at home on the Internet let themselves wander off to browse the news, message boards, chat rooms, etc. If this is a problem, designate a time for your day to do only this. That will help you feel that you are not missing anything.
After you have accomplished what you planned to for the day, take an extra few minutes to write up an outline of your next day's work. That way, when you get the time again, you can jump right in. Following these few simple tips will allow you to manage your time the best for your home based work.
